Didi shared an authentic and heartfelt journey of why she went on a journey of sobriety in the lead up to her 40th year milestone. How the self proclaimed party girl, successful in an industry known for its boozing reputation to impress and win clients over, decided “No, I’m going to give this lifestyle a break”. A brave move when people are praised for giving up smoking or sugar, but questioned on “why, are you mad?” when it comes to the bubbly stuff.
Didi shared the ups & downs with humorous moments we can all relate to. Her vulnerability created an environment where others, including myself, felt safe to share and contribute. She embraced this, knowing everyone’s experiences are unique and we’ve all something to share.
Not advocating sobriety, but sharing the notion of taking a break and see for yourself, made Didi’s presentation so easy to connect to. No preaching, just sharing for individuals to make up their own minds on what they choose to do.
Didi provided participants with eye opening, thought provoking statistics on which are hard to ignore and then her self compiled package of valuable resources; information, suggested reading, podcasts, tips & motivators.
Didi’s personal approach, honesty and openness ensured her message was received warmly and with a genuine desire to hear more from her as she has now achieved her original goal, continuing sobriety beyond 40. I am inspired and look forward to extending my own “sober chapter” with Didi on my side sharing the journey.

My life has improved in every aspect - exponentially...
I had been sober curious for some time before my coaching with Didi. In the first few sessions of coaching, Didi really took the time to listen and understand exactly where I was at. Using various tools we were able to identify the areas of my life that I wanted to focus on during my sober chapter. I found these sessions so insightful and uplifting, particularly with Didi helping me to discover what was already inside of me, and how to tune into and align with what is meaningful to me, and gives me purpose and joy.
At almost 6 months into my sober chapter now, I can truly say that as someone who was a regular drinker, whose identity was heavily tied to alcohol in all the usual ways, my life has improved in every aspect - and exponentially. Building trust with myself, and learning what true self-love looks like has had such an incredible impact on me personally. My relationships - family, business and intimate – are all so much better for the work I have done.
I am excited for the remainder of my sober chapter, to see the incredible transformative change that will continue to come, and will forever be grateful for Didi’s guidance in helping kick-start this!
